Standing on the shores of the Mississippi or of Lake Superior, you may be struck by the soothing glistening ripples or you may feel the raw force of the waves. I contemplate them endlessly. The mysteries of nature awe and inspire.

My works express that rich tapestry in gestural, sometimes intertwining, strokes that represent the rhythms and forces of the natural world of which we are an integral part.
